Clearing the Road for Widespread Mobile Learning

Mobile learning is a transformative trend in education that enables collaborative, personalized and 24/7 learning. It has been sparked in part by the growing number of students and teachers who have their own digital devices. However, despite the surge in devices being brought on campus and the countless benefits mobile learning promises, hurdles remain in the road to widespread adoption of mobile learning: technical, financial and practical. This Thought Leadership Paper, with research provided by the Center for Digital Education, examines these major challenges, along with solutions that will pave the way for schools to embrace mobile learning.
