Say Goodbye to Lunch Leftovers

A Washington elementary school is saving money with a new recycling and composting program, reports Christopher Huber of the Sammamish Review.

Third- and fourth-graders at Cascade Ridge Elementary School will show their fellow students which bins to put their extra milk, empty milk cartons; paper, glass and plastic; lunch leftovers and garbage after lunch. Fourteen other schools nearby have started programs like this one.
