Browning-Kimball Foundation focuses its giving primarily for health care, including mental and health associations, and for children, youth, and social services programs. The foundation is interested in projects concerning the care and preservation of animals and wildlife; providing support to Catholic and Christian agencies and churches; supporting organizations providing services to children and youth; supporting community and economic development; and supporting projects and organizations concerned with education (elementary, secondary, and higher education); the environment; providing human services; medical research; and mental health. It is also interested in supporting libraries and museums. Many recently funded organizations have received unrestricted support from the foundation. The foundation provides support for capital projects, as well.
