This program targets fifth through twelfth grade students throughout New Mexico and reaches more than 5000 students per year. The program's goal is to inspire future scientists and engineers (S&Es) by providing on-hand science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities, mapped to New Mexico Contest Standards and Benchmarks. The program integrates AFRL technologies and utilizes AFRL S&Es in the development/delivery of the outreach activities. The Academy's programs are organized by grade level into Flights starting with the fifth grade Mars Mission Flight and ending with the twelfth grade Students Planning and Conducting Engineering (SPACE) Flight. A schedule of activities is included the Statement of Work.
