The traditional elements of the classroom are changing. Once standard, the model of a teacher at the front of the room and students in rows of desks has evolved as learning environments have become virtual, ever-present and always available. The evolving classroom can include non-conventional education such as home schooling, private or charter schools. It can also be taken further to include hybrid learning, distance learning, virtual schools and instruction methods like project-based learning, flipped classrooms and personalized learning. This webinar highlights the myriad learning environments available today and provide a vision of what is to come.

John Halpin is Vice President of Education Strategic Programs for the Center for Digital Education. As a veteran K-12 teacher, college professor and IT consultant, Halpin has been active in promoting the use of technology in education for over 25 years. He has led sales and marketing efforts for some of the largest technology companies and has written for various media outlets. In addition, Halpin is a frequent speaker on public sector technology issues for national professional associations, various state leadership councils and technology companies.
