What is Education's Role in Solving Domestic Economic Challenges?
Not your typical education conference, the 2009 Washington, DC Technology and Education Summit will be an innovative, interactive and high-energy experience. Converge and the Washington, DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer will bring together an influential group of over 200 delegates (including administrators, school leaders and the education ecosystem - parents, teachers and students - all from the DC region, including Virginia and Maryland) to forge the path of success for DC schools in this challenging economy.
This year's forum will focus on the "edu-conomy" and discuss how education can help invigorate the U.S. economy. Be ready for interactive, productive breakout sessions . . . no static lectures here. Each session will be an entrepreneurial brainstorming exercise, producing dynamic ideas that will be summarized in an "Ideas!" report written for and by DC public schools.
This is a fresh and energetic conference designed to create and implement the ideas that will make a difference right now for DC schools. Don't miss this opportunity to brighten the future for District parents, teachers and students!
