Improving eLearning and Collaboration in the Classroom
Learn how to meet the ever-changing needs of the eLearning and online classrooms and meetings. We will illustrate how to deliver a rich, engaging online classroom experience complete with video, interactivity, chat, polling questions, audience feedback, white boards, breakout rooms and more. Rather than just slides posted to the web, your online class or meeting can actually be more engaging than a face-to-face session. Attendees will be very engaged and will, therefore, retain more information. Most important, the technology is easy to use and accessible to anyone; all you need is a web browser. You will also be able to ask current customers to share their real-world uses of the technology during the Q&A.

Teaching Problem-solving Concepts Using Alice
Alice allows students to easily create animations and games without worrying about clumsy syntax errors. Alice is a three-dimensional programming environment that gives students the opportunity to drag and drop code segments onto an editing area and to test the results. Students are given the opportunity to experiment with objects, classes, inheritance, expressions, conditions, loops, variables, arrays, events, recursion and data structures. The purpose of this session is to introduce participants to the Alice environment.
