Prepared for the Tech World

Graduating high school is going to be one of the greatest moments of my life. This is even more exciting because we live in a time where technology is essential for everyday life.

Since Empire is a technology-driven high school, I've lived the past four years of my life in the center of the technological renaissance. Technology has shaped the world, and I have felt its changes. However, my school is only one part of my life that incorporates technology.

For example, my home has been revamped with new technologies that can save energy at a small cost. Technology has provided the means for improvement; however, the will to improve is all my own.

I feel that I have been adequately prepared for my future because I have had the opportunity to be exposed to many types of technologies. I know that my success is the equal and opposite reaction of the society that promotes the teaching and advancement of technology.

In relation to my future, living in a technology-based society has prepared me for whatever may come my way. Be it college, the military or a trade, I have confidence that not only will I succeed, but my community will succeed as well.

Looking back on my four years of high school and today's state of affairs, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I am ready for life after school and prepared for the real world.
